Even though he may be taking a brief vacation from the court following his knee injury sustained during last Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry is still playing at the highest level of his career.

Curry became the 13th player in NBA history to earn Player of the Week 20 times in his career when he was awarded Western Conference Player of the Week earlier this month.

The superstar guard for the Golden State Warriors has earned millions of dollars while having an NBA career that is nothing short of legendary. With a total salary of $100 million for the year, Curry ranked as the eighth-highest paid athlete in the world in2023, according to Forbes.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates that Curry is worth $160 million.

 In addition to earning millions on the court, the NBA champion is a shrewd investor and businessman who has a string of successful ventures and alliances under his belt.

Curry’s NBA Pay

Thus far in his NBA career, Curry has earned millions of dollars.

Curry and the Golden State Warriors agreed to the first-ever $200 million contract in NBA history in 2017. Curry signed a four-year, $215 million contract deal in 2021 that would run through the 2025–2026 campaign. The 2023–2024 salary of the Warriors’ point guard is anticipated to be $51.9 million.

Curry’s Under Armour Agreement Since 2013, Curry and the sportswear company Under Armour (UAA) have collaborated.

 The NBA star has his own line of Under Armour sporting clothing and sneakers under the Curry Brand.

According to The Athletic, Curry received $75 million worth of Under Armour shares in April 2023 in exchange for taking on the role of president of Curry Brand and continuing to serve as an ambassador for the business.

 It is anticipated that the long-term contract he inked with Under Armour in 2023 will last past the conclusion of his NBA career.

Companies and Brands

Curry has also established a number of businesses and brands. Owning his own company, SC30, the two-time MVP oversees the player’s ventures, investments, and charitable endeavors.

In addition, Curry owns his own production firm, Unanimous Media, which creates, produces, and releases podcasts in addition to a variety of TV shows and movies. Among the projects are Jumpshot, a documentary on basketball pioneer Kenny Sailors, and Underrated, a full documentary on Curry’s basketball career for Apple TV+. Comcast NBCUniversal and Audible are partners of Unanimous Media for podcasts.

Curry’s own line of bourbon, Gentleman’s Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, was introduced in May 2023.

 In addition to whiskey, the brand also sells tumblers and sweatshirts, with each bottle retailing for roughly $73.

Curry has also invested in Tonal, a smart home gym business that The Wall Street Journal estimates could be worth up to $600 million by 2023. 

Ayesha Curry, the wife of Curry, is a shrewd businesswoman with a line of cookware, jewelry, beds, and cookbooks to her name. The pair runs a nonprofit organization called Eat. Learn. Play. that seeks to give Oakland, California children access to resources, wholesome food, and literacy.

 Among their projects are Oakland schoolyard renovations and middle school sports programming investments.
