But to sign Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid must meet three conditions that would raise eyebrows in any club. 

It seems that Madridistas were hastily happy because the royal club still has a lot of work to go through before they can take Mbappe away from PSG in the summer. 

It seems like the negotiations in this deal never end, the parties are still haggling with each other and the 25-year-old player is waiting for big concessions from Madrid.

According to Cadena SER, Mbapp’s first request is a salary of 43 million pounds per year, nearly double the highest earners in Madrid’s current salary structure.

Madrid’s highest earners next season will be Vinicius Jr and Bellingham whose deals will see them reach almost €12 million with incremental increases factored into their contracts over the coming seasons.

Carlo Ancelotti has a squad capable of competing for the Liga and Champions League titles, especially the Vinicius – Bellingham pair which is showing remarkable development.

However, signing Mbappe could catapult Madrid into the stratosphere in which Manchester City reside and set them up for dominance over the next decade.

If the Spanish side are looking to save money on Mbappe’s transfer fee then they are seriously mistaken, 

Because although his contract will expire at Parc des Princes at the end of the season, the striker will be looking for a new transfer. The contract is worth 105 million pounds.

It is true that the price of this free contract is lower than the transfer fee that Madrid would have to pay to the Ligue 1 champions if they brought Mbappe back 6 months earlier

But it is still a terrible amount of money, only a few million less compared to the amount Madrid spent to bring Bellingham to the Bernabeu last summer.

Furthermore, Spanish media confirmed that Mbappe wants to retain part of his image copyright.

The club usually holds 50% of the image rights of their top signings, but information from people close to Real Madrid suggests the club could allow a 60-40 split in Mbappe’s favor.

Madrid is not without financial constraints. Last November at the club’s general meeting, they asked members for permission to borrow an additional 300 million euros to complete the stadium

Increasing the loan amount for the project to 1.17 billion euros.

No matter who is in charge of this negotiation, the final contract’s appearance is still unknown when Real Madrid hardly made any profit in the ‘deal of the century’ with Mbappe.
