Sometimes celebs still have to get up early to travel –– even if that travel means boarding a private jet!
Travis Kelce was spotted at midnight leaving girlfriend Swift’s Rhode Island mansion, where the 34-year-old singer was hosting a birthday party in honor of her bestie Blake Lively.
The Daily Mail reported that Kelce, 34, was headed for Kansas City, where he will be receiving an honor at the Kansas City Sports Awards.
The tight end is being honored with the Polsinelli Sportsman of the Year award,
which is given each year to “a local male athlete who is currently participating in amateur, high school, collegiate or professional sports.”
According to the event website, “this athlete exemplifies all the positive aspects of sport and has made a positive impact on the Kansas City community.”
While Swift and Kelce have cheered each other on at many important events,
it seemed like the “Cruel Summer” singer would be staying behind to entertain her many guests and celebrate Lively’s 37th birthday.
The Rhode Island house has been the site of many Swift July 4th extravaganzas over the years but this event also hosted the children of many of the pop star’s famous friends. Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, brought their four children, James, Olin, Betty, and Inez, to the party. Close friend Gigi Hadid attended with her boyfriend Bradley Cooper and his 7-year-old daughter Lea. Additionally, Travis’s older brother, Jason Kelce, attended with his wife Kylie and their kids, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett.
While Swift has been busy on her record-smashing Eras Tour, it appears she’s taking a break to relax and enjoy time with friends. Kelce showed up to celebrate her return home, even if it meant having to leave in the wee hours of the morning.
