PGA Tour Champions’ player Bob Estes took to Twitter to complain about his delayed flight from Dallas Fort Worth on Friday, asking,
“Anybody feel sorry for me?”
Mark Calcavecchia doesn’t!
In reply, the 1989 Open champion quickly recalled a story involving golf legend Tiger Woods.
After confirming the 15-time major champ said just that — “Exactly that way. 2 words” — Calc replied he felt it was Tiger’s way of saying,
“if I played better I’d have my own jet? I don’t know. I thought it was funny.”
Of course, it could have meant play better, be in the last group and I’ll take you, but the 13-time PGA Tour winner didn’t seem to mind the brutal reply at all.
