New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner’s ongoing efforts to become a golfer are causing his love for video games to cross paths with the golf world – and Tiger Woods.
After Sauce recently asking for some people to join him for Call of Duty, a user on X offered to connect him with some PGA pros.
Sauce was perplexed by the idea that PGA Tour stars play Call of Duty in their spare time and joked that he can’t imagine Tiger Woods “putting his club down to pick the sticks up.”
Well, apparently Tiger does.
In response to Sauce’s tweet about Woods, the PGA Tour shared a previous clip of Woods saying that he played Call of Duty a lot while he was recovering from his 2021 car accident.
“JT was texting me last night and was like ‘Well what are you doing right now?’ And I said, ‘Quit bugging me. I’m playing Call of Duty…” Woods said in the clip.
Sauce was amazed by the clip, declaring that his respect for Tiger went up even though it was already at maximum.
“Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? My respect for Tiger just went up x10 and I thought it was already maxed #oneofus,” the All-Pro cornerback said in response to the video.
Some fans are already wondering if the two might collaborate on a game of Call of Duty together.
You never know!
