NEW DELHI: Victor Wembanyama, the talented power forward for the San Antonio Spurs, recently disclosed his unwavering support for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the reigning champions of Ligue 1. 

The French-born player, hailing from just outside Paris, has been candid about his love for football and his admiration for PSG, particularly superstar Kylian Mbappé.

Wembanyama, affectionately known as “Wemby,” has not shied away from expressing his football allegiances.

He has frequently been spotted in the company of Parisian football icon Kylian Mbappé, and on Thursday, he officially confirmed his status as a devout PSG fan.

What we can do is accompany him, support him, admire what he has already done and what he will do in the future.”

When quizzed about his football allegiance, Wembanyama left no room for doubt, stating, “We do talk football from time to time. My team is PSG, of course.”

Mbappé, who stands at 5 feet 10 inches, is renowned for his speed and dribbling abilities. 

In contrast, Wembanyama, a colossal 7-foot-4 (or 7-foot-5 in shoes), casts an imposing figure on and off the court.
