Rory Mcllroy had that winning feeling on Sunday as he defended his Dubai Desert Classic title at Emirates Golf Club.
The Northern Ireland golfer held his nerve to clinch a one-shot victory over Poland’s Adrian Meronk, with overnight leader Cameron Young a shot behind in third.
It saw McIlroy become the first player to win the tournament four times, his latest success coming 15 years after his first in 2009.
As well as lifting the massive trophy on offer, there was also some lucrative prize money on offer.
But how much did Rory McIlroy win at the Dubai Desert Classic?
McIlroy scooped a huge $1,530,000 (£1,204,345) of the $9,000,000 (£7,084,383) purse.
Sunday’s win follows his second place at the Dubai Invitational earlier this month when McIlroy lifted €197,251.20 (£155,267).
