2024 has been an impressive year for American professional golfer Scottie Scheffler. He has won six events on the PGA Tour this season, along with the Olympic gold medal in Paris.
While these victories have earned Scheffler fame and praise from the world of golf, they’ve also earned him a lot of money.
This year, Scheffler has earned a total of $29,108,691 from his victories, and as per Golf Digest, his caddie, Tedd Scott, might have earned more than some professional golfers.
Assuming Scheffler paid Scott 10% of his earnings, the caddie should have made $2,910,869 this year.
This amount places Scott ahead of golfers like Jordan Spieth and Min Woo Lee.
Spieth has made $2,732,591 this season, which places him in the 59th position on the PGA Tour money list, whereas Lee has earned $2,519,726,
which places him in the 63rd position. Scott’s estimated earnings, on the other hand, place him in the 56th position.
Scottie Scheffler has worked with Scott since late 2021. The duo seems to have a good relationship both on and off the course. At the recently concluded Olympic Games in Paris, the two were spotted spending time on the tennis court for leisure.
