Sha’Carri Richardson made sure to remind people that she is still that girl with her performance in the women’s 4×100-meter relay.

Team USA’s women’s relay team will compete in the 4×100-meter final all because Richardson showed why she was made for the big stage.

Sha’Carri Richardson bailed the women out from a near collapse on Thursday in the Olympic 4×100 relay. She overcame a German runner in the anchor leg to help the Americans win their heat and advance to the gold-medal race.

Amid that run, Richardson could be seen staring at Rebekka Haase as she quickly passed her up on the track.

Richardson was about three steps behind after receiving the baton from Gabby Thomas, but her world-class speed made up the difference caused by a misconnection on the exchange with Twanisha Terry and Thomas.

The U.S. won in 41.94 seconds, .19 ahead of the Germans, per Bleacher Report.

This is Richardson’s first Olympic games after she was suspended for a month, which prevented her from racing in Tokyo in 2021.

It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as she qualified for this summer’s games with a time of 10.71 at the U.S. Olympic trials in late June.

The father of Travis Kelce is piping hot mad. He took to Facebook to post a Daily Mail article spotlighting a lyric on Kanye West’s long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign that mentions Taylor Swift.

Kanye featured a lyrical reference to Taylor Swift’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” Lil Wayne raps on the track “Lifestyle (Demo).”

“Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote in response.

Honestly, those lyrics are quite tame to what we have heard in the past.

Sha’Carri Richardson showcased her undeniable talent and speed during the women’s 4×100-meter relay, securing a spot for Team USA in the final. Despite a shaky start that almost led to a collapse, Richardson’s impressive performance in the anchor leg helped the team clinch victory in their heat. Her breathtaking sprint to overtake the German runner left spectators in awe, as she powered through to ensure the team’s advancement to the gold-medal race. With a time of 41.94 seconds, Team USA emerged victorious, with Richardson playing a pivotal role in their success. This remarkable display of skill comes after Richardson faced a setback when she was suspended for a month, causing her to miss the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. However, her stellar performance at the U.S. Olympic trials in late June earned her a well-deserved spot in this year’s games. Richardson’s perseverance and determination have undoubtedly paid off, solidifying her status as a rising star in track and field. In a completely different realm, the recent controversy surrounding Kanye West’s lyrics involving Taylor Swift has sparked outrage, particularly from Travis Kelce’s father. The mention of Taylor Swift in Kanye’s song has not sat well with many, including Kelce’s father, who expressed his disapproval on social media. The seemingly innocuous reference to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in the lyrics has stirred up a storm of criticism, with many questioning the appropriateness of such remarks in the music industry. As we navigate through the world of sports and entertainment, it is essential to stay informed and engaged with current events.
