Kobe Bryant was a devout Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Bryant — who did much of his growing up in the Philadelphia area as a youth — was beyond thrilled with the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots to capture their first one in franchise history.

That video of Kobe Bryant is going viral this week.
The daughter Kobe Bryant was holding at the time was Capri Bryant, who was born June 20, 2019. Unfortunately, she would only get to experience having her father for about six months before he and Gianna would tragically pass away in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.
Bryant knows something about championships, having won five titles with the Lakers. It was nice to know that he got to experience the Eagles winning the Super Bowl before he passed.
Before 2018, Philadelphia lost its previous two Super Bowls, including Super Bowl XXXIX against the Patriots.
In that game against the Patriots, game MVP Nick Foles threw for 373 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception while also catching a touchdown pass in the final minute of the first half.
Kobe Bryant Is Still Missed
The fact that it has been four years since Kobe Bryant passed doesn’t seem real, as nobody will ever forget the date and where they were when the news came down.
Koe had a lot more life to live, and so did his daughter, Gianna, and the other people on that helicopter. They were John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester and Ara Zobayan.
Rest in peace to all of those lost lives.
