Following Team USA’s victory, NBA fans criticized Dillon Brooks for his disrespect during Devin Booker’s press conference, remarking, “Why does he always behave as if he’s the main character?”

Stipe Miocic last had a pay-per-view UFC bout in March 2021 against Francis Ngannou, and that too came in a losing cause. At UFC 295 in 2023, he was set to fight Jon Jones for the Heavyweight championship, but the match got scrapped as the latter suffered a pectoral muscle injury. However, even after nine months, the 41-year-old still awaits a bout against Jones but thinks the UFC won’t organize it.

After suffering the injury, Jones had to undergo surgery, leaving him out of action for eight months. Since the Heavyweight Championship became vacant, Tom Aspinall became the interim champion. As the Englishman gears up to face Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304, all eyes are on Miocic and whether he will come back to claim his title shot.

While speaking to CBS, Miocic replied to all those who said he was “holding up any division,” and cleared he wasn’t really looking after what Aspinall wanted to do with the title said,

“There’s only one guy I want to fight, and it’s Jon Jones. But at the same time, the UFC can pick who they want. People don’t know this, but there were a couple of other times where I was ready to fight, and they gave them another guy. What am I supposed to do?”

Stipe Miocic Feels “Anyone is Beatable” As He Wishes To Face Jon Jones

Back in 2021, Miocic suffered a knockout loss to Francis Ngannou. Although he wanted to face the latter again in a rematch, Ngannou left UFC to join PPL. So, the only best choice he had was Jon Jones!

Miocic revealed, “Everyone thinks he’s going to beat my a**. I don’t like being told that. I like shutting people up. He’s beatable. I know he is. Anyone is beatable and I will be the first to do this”

Jon Jones is often called the greatest MMA fighter of all time, but Stipe Miocic has the most UFC title defenses in heavyweight division. But will UFC let a Jones vs Miocic bout ever happen? At least, the 41-year-old still wishes for the same.
