The ex-wife of golf legend Tiger Woods was devastated when his 2009 infidelity scandal blew up their nearly six-year marriage and the family she wanted for her two small children,
who were just 10 months old and 2 years old at the time.
Today, the 44-year-old mental health counselor has it all with retired NFL tight end Jordan Cameron: six kids, a full home life and a devoted partner to share it with.
Together, the couple — who first got together in 2017 — have a blended family of six kids. Cameron was already dad to a son, Tristan, from a previous relationship.
In addition to the mental health counselor’s two kids with Woods — son Charlie, 15, and daughter Sam, 16 — Nordegren also shares Zeta, Freya and Arthur with Cameron.
“Elin always wanted a big family and loved the idea of a house filled with kids,” a friend of Nordegren’s tells PEOPLE. “She has that now, living her sweetest dream.”
Earlier this week, the mom of six looked on proudly as Charlie received his state championship ring after his North Palm Beach, Florida school won the Class 1A golf title. Woods was also in attendance.
It was the fourth time that Charlie’s school has taken home the state title — which they won in November — and comes amid the younger Woods’ own quest to strike out on his own.
Last month, Charlie came up short to qualify for the PGA Tour, after failing to advance in the 2024 Cognizant Classic tournament at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Years after their split, a source told PEOPLE that Woods and Nordegren are co-parents and close pals.
“They’re friends now,” the source said. “Everything that happened in the past is in the past. They both decided to be adults and to do what was best for the kids. So they get along really well. Tiger says really great things about Elin. He never complains about her, ever. … The kids love them both.”
