The bikini-wearing, lead-pumping Instagram model Bri Teresi says like hell she is going to call off her Bud Light boycott that was triggered April 1, 2023
when the beer brand got into bed with chick with a dick Dylan Mulvaney.
In a fiery Instagram Story post from Wednesday night, Teresi, who is well aware that Donald J. Trump has called for consumers to end their boycotts, announced she’s not backing down.
“You will absolutely never catch me with a Bud Light in hand,” Bri told her fans.
But, she’s a Trump superfan. Aren’t you going to be influenced by the Republican nominee on this one, Bri?
“I do not support [Bud Light] in any way!” she fired back. “They have shown their true colors & never even apologized for their actions.
I do support Donald J. Trump, but that does not mean I agree with everything he says.
“And lastly…Anheuser Busch is not even an American company.”
In case you’ve been in a coma or sleeping under a rock, Bud Light is on a massive marketing blitz where they’ve asked (paid) for big names to come to their defense. Kid Rock ended his boycott. Trump asked his fans who have destroyed Bud Light to give the beer brand another chance. Dana White is making a bunch of money to push Bud Light. Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith keep buying rounds of Bud Lights for the house in a commercial that won’t stop running. Comedian Shane Gillis was recruited by Bud Light.
Put it this way, Bud Light is betting the big names can break through to the mainstream American or the brand is going to die trying.
Teresi says it won’t work, but she’s going to face an all-out assault during the Super Bowl when Bud Light unveils a 60-second commercial being called “Easy Night Out” where a group of friends run into a “Bud Light Genie” who grants the group a wish.
The friends will run into Manning, Post Malone and Dana White.
With sales down 30% year over year for the week ending January 20 compared to 2023 – before the Mulvaney debacle – and AB InBev’s market value down $27 billion since March 2023, Bud Light’s marketing team says it’s going back to old-school Bud Light humor and using the influencers to influence Middle America to drink its beer again.
In a poll conducted by Teresi asking her fans whether Bud Light deserves a second chance, 73% said ‘no.’
