Kylian Mbappe laughed off Aurelien Tchouameni‘s apparent slip as the France star continues to tease his summer move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s Paris Saint-Germain contract is set to expire at the end of June and he has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

On Sunday, Tchouameni appeared to confirm that Mbappe will join him at Real Madrid this summer.

Tchouameni, who is team-mates with Mbappe at international level for France, suggested that the 25-year-old will be playing for Real next season.

In an interview, Tchouameni stated that fans in Spain will realise just how good Mbappe is when he they see ‘every day’.

Mbappe laughed off Tchouameni ‘s apparent slip as he continues to tease Real Madrid move. 

Speaking to Telefoot, Tchouameni said: ‘The Spanish are aware of the player that Kylian is, although when they see him every day they will realise the player’s greatness’.

When Mbappe was asked about the comment on Monday at a press conference ahead of France’s friendly against Chile on Tuesday

He joked that the Spaniards could see him regularly as PSG are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

He said: ‘Well, I played Real Sociedad [in the last 16], we play Barcelona in quarter finals and if we go through, maybe Atletico in semis!.

‘So yes, Spaniards will see me a bit more.’ Mbappe has revealed that he will make an announcement on his future before Euro 2024 starts in June.

Real have reportedly reached an agreement with Mbappe, who came close to joining them in 2022.

Mbappe is reportedly set to join Real on a free transfer with a signing on fee of £85.5million.

Speaking about his future, Mbappe told Telefoot: ‘People will know my future before the Euros. I’m very calm about it.

‘My future is no longer a huge topic at the club, no one talks to me about it anymore. ‘I’ll be at the Euros with calm head, ready to do great things.’

Last month Mail Sport revealed that Real are prepared to make Mbappe the highest earner at the club.

That would see Mbappe earn more than the £10.3million that Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior receive per season.

During his time at PSG, Mbappe has scored 250 goals in 297 appearances. Tchouameni, meanwhile, has been at Real since 2022 after joining from Monaco.

Both Mbappe and Tchouameni started as France lost 2-0 to Germany in a friendly on Saturday.
