Nelly Korda returns to the practice field after a recovery period from an injury due to a confrontation with her caddie. Although she has not fully recovered, she disregards the doctor’s advice to come to the practice field (video)

Nelly Korda is in the midst of the best season of her career so far, with six victories. It’s the reward for hours of intense work that has brought her back to number one in the world rankings.

This intense work does not stop.

This Thursday, September 5, Nelly Korda shared with her more than 1 million followers on Instagram a video clip in which she shows her face with the signs left after a training session on the course.

In the footage, Nelly Korda is seen under the blazing sun, with extensive sweat stains on the cap she is wearing. Her face looks red and sweaty, and she accompanied the video with the following text:

After playing at the Paris Olympics, Nelly Korda finished T2 at the AIG Women’s Open.

So far this season, she has played in 13 LPGA Tour events and made 10 cuts. She has won six events, five in a row, including a major. She has two other top-10 finishes, including a tie for second at St. Andrews.

What’s next for Nelly Korda?

Prior to her participation in the Paris Olympics, Nelly Korda stated (via ASAP Sports) that she would not take part in the Women’s Scottish Open in order to visit her relatives in Prague. Her next commitment would be the AIG Women’s Open and from there she would go to the Solheim Cup.

Korda’s next competitive event will then be representing the United States in the Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia from September 13-15.

One week after that, Korda will play in the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G at TPC River’s Bend in Cincinnati. It is an event she did not play last season.

In October, the circuit will hold its second Asian wing of the season with four tournaments. Korda is likely to play in two of them, as she did in 2023. A year ago, she played the BMW Ladies Championship in Korea and the Maybank Championship in Malaysia.

The LPGA Tour returns to the United States in November for the final four tournaments of the season. Korda is expected to play in three of them, all in her home state of Florida.

Those events will be the Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, the CME Group Tour Championship to close out the regular season, and the Grant Thornton Invitational, where she will team up with Tony Finau.
