Breaking: If not a basketball player, LeBron James could still excel as a top NFL tight end, as Mike Robinson shares that LeBron has skills similar to Jimmy Graham! Is this true?

In high school, LeBron James was a standout football player who received offers from several Division I programs.

However, he focused solely on basketball during his senior year.

To this day, many have speculated about what his career would’ve been like had he chosen football instead of pursuing NBA glory.

In a clip from the upcoming “Get Got Pod” podcast posted on X (formerly Twitter),

Mike Robinson asked Marshawn Lynch if he thought James would’ve been one of the great NFL players.

“Not in the trenches,” Lynch said.

Robinson said that James could have been a great NFL player, not just a tight end. He also compared him to Jimmy Graham, a five-time All-Pro. This prompted Lynch to see the NBA star’s hypothetical football career differently.

“Well, then, he would have been a good tight end. Just wouldn’t have been blocking for s**t.”

LeBron James shared his Mt. Rushmore of NFL quarterbacks

There have been a handful of great quarterbacks in the NFL. With the amount of talent the league has produced, fans find it difficult to narrow it down to just one player. LeBron James took his time to share his Mt. Rushmore of quarterbacks.

James named Tom Brady, Patric Mahomes and Joe Montana. He had difficulty deciding which player would wrap up his list of quarterbacks. At first, James mentioned John Elway but then considered Peyton Manning.

“My Mt. Rushmore of all-time quarterbacks would be Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Montana, John Elway. Nah s**t, that’s not fair. Well, life’s not fair. I would do a toss-up between Elway and Peyton Manning.”

Eventually, LeBron James had to squeeze Manning on the list and put both legendary quarterbacks. Both former quarterbacks are well-decorated and have left a legacy on the field. Elway and Manning are two-time Super Bowl champions and Super Bowl MVPs.

As for the other players he named, Tom Brady isn’t surprising. The former New England Patriots star is highly touted as the greatest quarterback of all time. For Patrick Mahomes, he’s one of the rising stars of the current league. At just 28 years of age, he’s already won the Super Bowl three times.

Meanwhile, Joe Montana solidified his NFL career with four Super Bowl wins during his 16-year run.
