Paige Spiranac stirs controversy by mocking an NFL star’s golf skills, even reposting the video on social media with a snarky comment: “If I were him, I’d have to pretend to be missing for 3 months out of embarrassment” (video)

On August 8th, 2024, Paige Spiranac on her YouTube channel uploaded a video titled, “How I Prepare for Golf Tournaments.”

While Spiranac did not reveal which tournament she will be competing in, it was later revealed that the social media personality will be a part of the Creator Classic.

This event will begin on August 28th, at the East Lake Golf Club, a day before the Tour Championship begins. Ahead of the event, Spiranac was spotted on the course with Peyton Manning.

In a video uploaded by her on X, Manning hit a shot that landed nowhere. She also took a jibe at herself.

“Everyone look away when this is me at the Creator Classic,” Spiranac said.

The 2024 Creator Classic will feature many prominent names apart from Paige Spiranac. Mac Boucher, George Bryan IV, Wesley Bryan,

and Aimee Cho are some of the big names set to compete in the competition.

For those interested in watching the Creator Classic, the tournament will be streamed on PGA Tour’s YouTube channel. It will also be available on streaming platforms like Peacock and ESPN+, and also the PGA TOUR channel on PlutoTV, Roku, Samsung TV Plus, Tubi, and XUMO.

Paige Spiranac had spoken about the pressure of playing at the Creator Classic

While Paige Spiranac had a career in amateur and professional golf, she gave it up and became a popular influencer on social media. She regularly uploads content related to golf and interacts with her fans through Q&A sessions. However, at the Creator Classic, she will be playing in a tournament after a while.

In the video “How I Prepare for Golf Tournaments” uploaded by Spiranac, she had detailed about the pressure of playing at the Creator Classic. While she at the time hadn’t revealed the name of the tournament, she had mentioned she was not used to playing stroke play events.

“This one is an important event. It’s a stroke play event which I don’t normally play stroke play events, especially under pressure. And so, it’s really important that I feel super confident with my game. But unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time because my August is going to be extremely busy.” [00:19 onwards]

When it comes to her career as a professional golfer, Paige Spiranac has the experience of competing on the Cactus Tour. The only win of her professional career came when she beat Hannah O’Sullivan in a tournament in May 2016.

While Spiranac attempted to play in the LPGA Tour by taking part in the LPGA Qualifying Tournament, she couldn’t earn a card for the same. It will be interesting to see how she uses her experience at the Creator Classic.
