Paige Spiranac will attend Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

The track announced Thursday morning that the popular golf personality will serve as an honorary pace car rider and event official for the Coke Zero Sugar 400. 

Spiranac won’t be the only big name from another sport at the World Center of Racing.

Daytona also named Olympic gold medal swimmers Caeleb Dressel and Bobby Finke as an honorary event official and starter, respectively. 

University of Florida track star Parker Valby will attend as an honorary event official.

“We’re also thrilled to have Paige Spiranac, a mogul in the sports influencer industry, 

as an honorary event official and pace car rider,” Daytona International Speedway president Frank Kelleher said in a statement, per Jayski. 

“She has an undeniable energy that continually captures the attention of the golf community, and with our friends at LPGA just up the road from here, I’m sure our fans are just as eager to welcome her to the Coke Zero Sugar 400 as we are.”

Before February’s Daytona 500, Spiranac wrote that she was “trying to get more into NASCAR” when asking followers to advise her on which drivers to support. The 31-year-old will now get to scout them in person to determine her playoff rooting interest.

Spiranac will witness the penultimate race of the Cup Series regular season. After Tyler Reddick earned his second victory of the year Monday at Michigan, four playoff spots remain up for grabs.

Martin Truex Jr., Ty Gibbs, Chris Buescher, and Ross Chastain enter Daytona as the points leaders among drivers yet to clinch a postseason berth. Yet Bubba Wallace lurks just one point behind Chastain.

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 starts Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
