Alert: Kelsey Plum called the referee a “jerk” during the Aces vs. Sky match for ignoring Onyen’s foul, which led to Sky’s lead over the Aces!

Kelsey Plum wasn’t happy with the referees during Sunday’s game between the Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky. The Aces’ star guard had an outburst against the official after not receiving an and-1.

Michaela Onyenwere aggressively guarded Plum just before her temper flared.

As Plum drove to the basket, it appeared Onyenwere fouled the former Washington Huskies product after she picked up her dribble and scored over her.

After the basket, Plum began shouting at the official.

“Call that s**t,” Plum was seen telling the referee.

Sunday’s contest was one of the most competitive the Aces have played this season.

The game featured a buzzer-beater by A’Ja Wilson. Before that winning moment, Chennedy Carter evened the score at 75.

However, Wilson received the inbound pass down low and beat the buzzer with a bank shot. The Aces won the game 77-75. Plum scored 18 points on 8 of 17 shooting. She also had five rebounds and five assists.

The Aces will next face the Dallas Wings. They are currently ranked No.5 in the league, just behind the No.4 Wings.

Kelsey Plum previously slammed officials after loss vs. Lynx

The Aces and Lynx faced each other on Monday for the fourth time this season. The Aces lost their last three games vs. Minnesota and hoped to even the series with a win. However, that would not happen.

After the game, Aces star Kelsey Plum expressed frustration with the officials. Plum alleged their inconsistent calls cost her team a critical victory.

“It’s so interesting to me, I’m probably going to get fined but… I don’t feel it’s consistent,” Plum told reporters, caccoring to High Post Hoops. “I don’t feel that it’s consistent, the way they call the game. I don’t feel it’s consistent…And when I say consistent I’m talking about the officiating.”

Plum scored 11 points in the game but struggled from the field. Except for A’Ja Wilson, the Aces’ top offensive players misfired.

The Aces are currently ranked No.3 in the Western Conference with an 18-11 record. The defending champions have not looked like themselves this season. However, Los Vegas shouldn’t be counted out with Kelsey Plum and A’Ja Wilson on the roster.
