Urgent: Maya Moore is honored with a pair of gold-plated Jordans from Michael Jordan! With this recognition from Michael Jordan, Maya is officially dubbed the “Goat of WNBA” by fans.

Michael Jordan’s son, Jeffery Jordan, dropped his reaction to the Chicago Bulls legend’s generous gesture towards WNBA icon Maya Moore.

On Saturday, the Jordan brand gifted the WNBA icon with a pair of golden sneakers and a jacket to celebrate her contribution to basketball.

House of Highlights shared the celebration video on Instagram and Jordan’s oldest son responded to it in the comments section.

He left a goat emoji as his sole response, referencing Moore as the greatest of all time in women’s basketball history.

Maya Moore is among those who shaped the landscape of the modern-day WNBA, which has now given rise to megastars like Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.

Moore had a seven-year-long career in the WNBA, where she played for the Minnesota Lynx. During this time, she cemented herself as one of the greatest players in the game.

Moore won four WNBA championships and was also named the Finals MVP in 2013. The following year, she grabbed the league MVP honor, reaching her prime as a player.

She has since then served as an inspiration and idol to many young athletes dreaming of being WNBA players. Even the league’s newest sensation, Caitlin Clark, had Moore as her childhood icon.

LeBron James congratulates Maya Moore’s legacy being honored at Target Center

Maya Moore’s legacy was immortalized on Saturday as the Minnesota Lynx retired the WNBA Icon’s No. 23 Jersey at the Target Center. Moore’s jersey is hanging at the home of the Lynx and the Timberwolves, alongside four other great hoopers in franchise history.

After witnessing the emotional ceremony, the biggest name in the NBA gave Moore her flowers. LeBron James made a post on X, formerly Twitter, showing his respect for the former WNBA player.

“CONGRATULATIONS 23!!!! Absolute LEGEND!!”

Maya Moore’s contribution to women’s basketball in the United States of America goes beyond her career in the WNBA. She has brought multiple honors to her nation on the biggest international stages as well. Moore was part of the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, where she led the USA Women’s National Basketball team to gold medals both times.

In addition to that, she also led her nation to two FIBA World Championships in her career, winning gold medals in 2010 and 2014.
