Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie Woods, is taking tiny steps towards becoming a professional golfer.
The 15-year-old kid has impressed everyone with his golfing abilities as he won the South Florida Jr. PGA Cup, and fans are delighted to watch Charlie excel.
Recently, Charlie Woods competed in the South Florida Jr PGA Cup and won the event for the first time.
After a dismal performance at the US Junior Amateur Championship where he missed the cut by 18 strokes, this win comes as a confidence booster.
“I wanted it so bad… I felt focused. I knew what I had to do to get it done. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do better,” Charlie said after winning the event.
Fans reacted to Charlie’s victory and congratulated the youngster.
“He’ll win many majors! Count on it!”
“Charlie has talent and work ethic… he will win some tournaments. lets give him the space to let Charlie Be Charlie!”
Fans also believed this victory would prove wrong a lot of people who doubted his abilities.
“Fair play to the kid, I hope he proves a lot of people wrong and makes a good career for himself,” a user commented.”The weird grown men haters will still find a way to drag the kid down. Good for him for not letting last week get to him! … Winning takes care of everything,” another user wrote.
“People really hated on him for his Jr Am performance as if he isn’t the youngest age possible for that and still a top 250 junior out of thousands,” tweeted a fan.
Even though most fans congratulated him, a few weren’t impressed by his performance.
“Well, he cannot compete against the best and it is shown. Take the less,” said a fan.
