Ethan Mbappe – the brother of French superstar Kylian – made his European debut for Paris Saint-Germain under-19s in their 5-3 victory over Juventus.
The 15-year-old, who plays as a midfielder, was brought on in the 71st minute to help the French side protect their lead.
The youngster was predominantly limited to defending as they held a 5-1 lead thanks to goals from Warren Emery, Ismael Gharbi
Pascal Lemina and a double from Ilyes Housni when he was introduced.
The rising star did, however, pull off two special backheels although things did go downhill for
PSG as Juve’s Luis Hasa scored a free-kick minutes after his introduction, before Dean Huijsen netted a penalty to make it 5-3.
PSG held on for the victory and Mbappe gained more valuable minutes as he continues to rise up through the club’s youth ranks.
Ethan Mbappe put pen to paper on a new deal that will run to the summer of 2024 last summer.
The younger Mbappe is capable of playing up front or out wide and impressed at the International Champions Cup Futures tournament in 2019.
He has since been called up to France under-16s and continued to impress in the youth set-up.
Speaking to RMC Sport, director of INF Clairefontaine Jean-Claude Lafargue said of Ethan: ‘He’s a very elegant midfielder.
‘He is very fluent, he is very intelligent. He’s a player in the making, that’s for sure.’
His brother Kylian Mbappe also stole the headlines as he notched a brace as PSG sealed a 2-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League group-stages.
Mbappe brilliantly volleyed in the opener from Neymar’s lofted pass before smashing in a low strike following a delightful one-two with Achraf Hakimi.
The Frenchman should have had a hat-trick but twice s.c.r.e.w.e.d shots wide, but the French giants held on for the victory.
PSG are level on three points in Group H with Benfica, who beat Maccabi Haifa 2-0.
